Refund Policy

Paid plans on Convertopia are sold through Gumroad, Inc., which is the merchant of record. That means Gumroad is the seller in the transaction and refunds are issued by Gumroad.

You can request a refund in either of two ways:

1. Email us at support@convertopia.it.com and we will approve an eligible request with Gumroad, or
2. Contact Gumroad directly using the receipt they sent you.

Gumroad’s own terms and refund process apply to your purchase alongside this policy. Where the two differ, Gumroad’s process governs how the money actually moves.

We will approve a refund in these cases:

• The Service did not work as described for you, and you tell us within 14 days of your first purchase.
• Duplicate or accidental charge — refunded in full.
• You were charged after cancelling — refunded in full.
• An extended outage stopped you using a plan you had paid for — refunded proportionately.

• A conversion completed but you didn’t like the result. File formats differ in what they can represent, and some conversions lose formatting by nature. We list what each conversion actually does and we don’t advertise conversions we can’t perform.
• Files deleted after your retention window expired. Retention periods are stated on the pricing page and in our Terms. Deletion is automatic and permanent.
• You forgot to cancel before renewal. We do look at these individually, and if the renewed period is entirely unused we will usually refund it as a courtesy.
• The account was suspended for breach of the Terms.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services.

Because the Service is made available to you immediately after purchase, by starting to use it you ask us to begin performance within that 14-day period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you have only partly used it, you may still withdraw and pay proportionately for what you used.

This does not affect any other statutory rights you have.

You can cancel at any time through Gumroad — your account page links straight there, and the link in your Gumroad receipt works too. Cancelling stops future renewals — it does not end the current period. Your plan remains active until the paid period expires, and we do not pro-rate partial periods.

After your plan ends, your account reverts to the Free tier. Files stored under the higher retention window of a paid plan may be removed once the Free retention limit applies, so download anything you need before your plan expires.

Email support@convertopia.it.com with:

• the email address used at purchase
• the Gumroad order number from your receipt
• a short description of the problem

We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned by Gumroad to the original payment method, and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
